I’ve always had a lot of respect for Warren Buffett, but this article and the philanthropic efforts described in it are unique and humbling. Definitely read the entire piece; here’s one of my favorite passages:

The horns do sound pretty obnoxious, and by all accounts thousands of them sound like quite a deafening cacophony. Supposedly an engineer has applied noise-canceling technology to produce audio that is 180 degrees out of phase with the vuvuzelas, filtering out their noise. I have my doubts…
