Nice Memorial Bridge, Governor Larry Hogan today announced $765 million in funding for… ” – My Comments : The Thomas Johnson bridge connecting Calvert and St. Mary’s counties has been in dire need of a replacement for years as well. I haven’t yet seen the full justification for one project over the other, but a study was already conducted (and apparently is in limbo) for the Thomas Johnson bridge years ago, while the Nice Bridge plan is apparently being implemented seven years ahead of a legislative mandate. So glad we moved to St. Mary’s County when we did.
