Regis Philben will fill in for Dick Clark’s perennial role as host of “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” because of a stroke that Clark recently suffered. Although initial reports had him recovering quickly enough to still host, Clark’s doctors have now advised him that he would not be well enough in time. Dick Clark has hosted “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” for 32 years; it will feel quite weird to ring in a New Year without him…
