CNN reports that actor Frank Gorshin died yesterday at the age of 72 from lung cancer. Frank Gorshin was probably best known for his portrayal of The Riddler in the Batman TV series of the ‘60s (seen above with fellow Batman villains Burgess Meredith, Julie Newmar, and Cesar Romero), but his credits in stage, film, and, TV are pretty extensive. I had forgotten that he played a doctor in Twelve Monkeys, and Digital Bits reminded me that he played the “black-on-the-RIGHT-side Bele on the original Star Trek episode Let That Be Your Last Battlefield.” He will be missed…
