Saturday Night Live aired the Robert Smigel cartoon Conspiracy Theory Rock during the March 14, 1998 broadcast, but it has since been edited out of reruns. Coincidence? I think not…

The Dukes of Hazzard Trailer
Yahoo has a trailer for the upcoming Dukes of Hazzard movie. I can’t imagine this being all that good, but then again the TV show wasn’t exactly high art. Still, it’s a fond childhood memory for me, and I hope that it isn’t sullied like others have been by recent crappy adapatations…

Star Wars Stuff
With Star Wars: Episode III only nine days away, there’s plenty of buzz floating around the Interweb to share with you. First of all, I came across a piece of merchandising that actually makes Darth Tater not look too bad: the Darth Vader sprinkler.
How Stuff Works has a thorough article on the lightsaber in case you feel like building one for yourself:
Chances are that you have seen a lightsaber at one time or another, whether on the evening news or down at the local cantina. Finally (for now), I came across a pretty good George Lucas rant that I couldn’t have written better myself… ;-P

Parrots, The Universe and Everything
Check out Parrots, The Universe and Everything, an 87-minute talk that Douglas Adams (one of my favorite authors) gave at the University of California-Santa Barbara a month before his death in 2001. The speech is about the environment and his book Last Chance to See [amazon link]. A link to streaming RealVideo of the talk is available near the bottom of the page…
By the way, has anyone seen The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy yet? I’ve heard wildly varying reviews of the movie, and although Douglas Adams supposedly had a major hand in writing the movie script, one of the main criticisms I’ve heard about the movie is that it butchers some of his funniest ideas and lines from the book. I guess I should see for myself, but I’m curious to hear from other fans…
