I’ve finally gotten around to posting pictures of my second recent trip to the Point Mugu area. Check out my DrikoLand Point Mugu, CA Gallery or my Friends And Family gallery, where I’ve posted a couple of pictures taken of me. I also have a flickr photoset with most of the photos.
Beer Advocate has a really interesting article entitled Iron Age Braumeisters of the Teutonic Forests that explores early European brewing history, specifically concentrating on how Roman invasions of Germanic and Celtic “barbarian” tribes influenced the art.
The recent Worth1000 PhotoShop contest Superhero Renaissance Art 2 was pretty fun. One of my favorites, a parody of Marcel Duchamp’s Nude Descending Staircase, is above.
One of the best Simpsons couch gags I’ve seen in a long time is this one (direct link to QuickTime video) that parodies the Powers Of Ten site. Deep. 😉
One of my favorite Saturday Night Live skits of all time is Men’s Synchronized Swimming (Google Video), starring Harry Shearer, Martin Short, and Christopher Guest. 🙂

Pixar’s next movie is entitled Ratatouille and is scheduled for a Summer 2007 release. Check out the trailer here. It’s hard to say from that clip, but the movie could have promise…
I quickly became bored with the repetitive video of Dooku.net (Count Dooku from the first Star Wars Trilogy flying around on his speeder) until I realized that you could choose from 12 different “soundtracks.” You’re The Best rocks! 😉
