For nearly 30 years, India and Bangladesh have argued over control of a tiny rock island in the Bay of Bengal. Now rising sea levels have resolved the dispute for them: the island’s gone.

New Moore Island in the Sunderbans has been completely submerged, said oceanographer Sugata Hazra, a professor at Jadavpur University in Calcutta. Its disappearance has been confirmed by satellite imagery and sea patrols, he said.

“What these two countries could not achieve from years of talking, has been resolved by global warming,” said Hazra.

That’s it; the deed is done – Google stopped censoring results for China. As of this morning, users trying to access google.cn are redirected to google.com.hk, where Google provides uncensored search results.

They have also created a new dashboard page, where the whole world (or human rights activists) can see at a glance which Google services are being blocked by China at any given day.

About damn time! Glad to see they’re stepping up and doing the right thing…

I remember Robert Culp best from The Greatest American Hero, but his career included many other memorable roles, perhaps most notably playing opposite Bill Cosby in I Spy.  This is quite sad news… 🙁
