Artist Jaal Vador just recently finished this series of prints that show the “Super Emo Friends,” or pouty versions of superheroes from all over the Marvel and DC universe being sad about the various tragedies that began or accompany their herodom.
They’re all pretty funny, though my favorite has to be Green Lantern (”My favorite color is yellow). Captain America must just be sad that he has to fight with no powers and no offensive weapon all the time. And can Wonder Woman not have kids? I must have missed the issue where she got a hysterectomy. She and Supes would make one hell of a wunderkind I’m sure.
