I've heard rumors of this for some time, but apparently MGM has given Sylvester Stallone the green light for Rocky VI Balboa, which he wrote and will direct. Shooting is to begin in December. I think this will be well worth the wait and not at all derivative or inane. Sorry, it was tough to type that with a straight face... ;-)
