If you haven't yet seen Washington Capitals rookie Alexander Ovechkin's amazing goal from last Monday's game against Phoenix, you're missing out. The Washington Post reports that superlatives are (deservedly, IMHO) flying:

Bill Clement, studio host for NBC's and OLN's NHL coverage [effuses] "Oh my god. It's one of the greatest goals of all time. We are starting to talk about him for the Hart Trophy," given to the league's most valuable player.

Ovechkin is a shining star on a pretty mediocre Caps team this year, but this goal is just mind-boggling. Check out the embedded Google Video below.
