Air & Space Magazine has a nice feature of the Top NASA Photos of All Time. The one above isn't the best photo, but it's certainly one of the most amusing.
Techcult presents a list of The 150 Best Online Flash Games.
As those of you among my dwindling readership may have noticed, I haven't been posting much lately. The most obvious reason for that is that I am kept pretty busy with the addition of twins to the family (see the somewhat more frequently updated family blog Casa Chornopeckyj). Of course, I had been pretty lackadaisical about posting even before the twins' birth, but that's another story. ;-p
For those of you who who are reading this via an RSS reader, you'll notice that Feedburner splices in daily updates of sites I've bookmarked/tagged in delicious, which gives at least the appearance of some activity on the site. At one point in the past, I had been using delicious to automatically create daily posts on the blog itself. This received mixed reviews, as it consolidated all of the day's bookmarks into a single post, making it confusing to comment on a single site. Well, a decision on whether I should revisit this is a moot point, as it seems that the service is just not playing nice with Blogger. The previous kludge I had used before no longer works, and all of my Google Fu has produced no usable results. Anyway, I'm going to try and post more, even if it's just short link posts. I have a decent backlog of things I'd like to post, but once those are exhausted we'll have to see whether I have enough time to find interesting new stuff to post. In the meantime, I suggest subscribing to the DrikoLand RSS feed if you haven't already done so. As I mentioned above, you'll at least see my daily delicious bookmarks and any flickr photos that I've uploaded. Of course, you won't have the opportunity to appreciate DrikoLand's elegant web design, but there are downsides to everything... ;-) |
